Osiah Masekoameng was a founder member of Artist Proof Studio in 1991, specialising in screen printmaking. He famously portrayed life in Pimville, Soweto where he was born, focussing on informal traders and their stals on the market plane. Wathinta Abafazi Wathinta Imbokodo, however, has an overt political theme: You strike the woman, You trike the rock!
